The aims and objectives of FACT are varied, yet pointed towards the common goal of making a Positive difference to the quality of life. Moreover, in this direction we feel the most important are:
- To work for the eradication of illiteracy and provide quality education to all.
- Helping to improve health care services in the target villages as well as in the District.
- To involve the community in sharing the responsibility of improving its health status.
- To create awareness about the importance of environment and its preservation for good health.
- To empower women through income generating skills.
- To promote Self Help Groups (SHG) for economic independence of the women.
- To encourage and create awareness among local people preserving their cultural and traditional heritage.
- To help the effected in case of natural calamities like cyclone, floods, drought etc.
- Provide safe, secure and caring homes for the destitute children where they will be looked after with food, clothing, medical help, tutorial assistance and companionship of other children.
- To make villages as viable units for their own development.
- To promote the active involvement of target groups through people’s organizations.
- To make communities able to sustain their unity, value system and development and to carry forward the work on their own;
