This area Villages have been situated by the Bay of Bengal, due to the availability of the salt water they have converted their land into the prawn culture. But for the past 6 years this culture has failed due to various deceases for the Prawns. These are the small and marginal farmers have not able to re-convert their land into paddy cultivation. FACT has provided financial help to convert this land into paddy cultivation. We helped 350 small and marginal farmers to convert these 2380 acres of the land into paddy cultivation. Now this land has been producing the paddy.
